Cool Whip

(Aero tee, Puma sweaters, Nike Free Runs, Foreign Exchange Faux Leather Jacket)

Feeling sporty and active? Well, no one said you can't wear gym outfits on a daily basis. Plus I was going to hit up the gym after work anyways. This way I can save my self the trouble of changing at the locker rooms. Plus I love wear active wear because it puts you in a state of mind that you will be working out and exercise definitely puts me in a good mood. It's important to keep yourself health and in shape. Most of the clothing are tight and fitted which it pretty important because once you see your gut sticky out in places where you don't want to see them, you know it's time to work out. haha. I know I'm being a bit disgusting here but that's how I see it. Stay healthy, stay fit!

Down The Block

(Banana Republic- Sweater Jacket & Knit Vest, American Eagle Jeans, Steve Madden Slip ons)

Oh just another day at the office. I'm so happy that I can pretty much wear whatever I want to work, definitely the chill startup vibe. The weather in NYC is all over the place. Sometimes you don't even know how to dress but once in a while you get a surprisingly nice day. Spring weather in winter, who wouldn't want to take advantage of that. Well, I just casually dressed in these comfy jeans and slip ons. This sweater jacket that I got at Banana Republic are my favorite! It has a great shape and it's super soft and most importantly it's super chic with a leather jacket zipper style. I'm a sucker for leather jackets. It is also very warm as well so no other jacket was necessary. =)

The Real Thing

(H&M Dress, Fioni Sandals)

The temperature is dropping as winter is slowly approaching and this post is super late, hahaha, since I am wearing a dress. It's summer somewhere in the world right?! Plus this is a pretty unique dress in terms of how it's cut. It's short in the middle and long on the sides and has an interesting feel. So why not, H&M is perfect for these cute summer dresses. It's really pretty when the wind blows too. Just a fun post. =)

Into The Blue

(Versace dress 1 & 2, Cesare Paciotti Lace up sandals 1 & 2)

There are always so many cool spots in the city, no matter where you are or what neighborhood you are in, you will get a different vibe in different areas. One of my photographer friend is in town and we figure we should do some cool fashion shots. So I went in my closet and found a few designer pieces including these killer lace up sandals. Actually, this was my 23rd birthday outfit. I couldn't let it go to waste without take some proper photos in it. I was never a huge fan of lace ups but as soon as I tried these heels on, it was as if it was made for me. I am not kidding. They fit my feet and calves perfectly. The longer I was in it, the more I fell in love with it. Most people love wearing bracelets so I kind of thought of these are leg candies for the legs and it definitely brought more attention to my best feature. What's not to love, haha. This dress, I don't even know where to begin, it's just gorgeous. So simple and elegant with a vibrant color. It just falls ever so lightly on my shoulders. It fits my personality exactly: simple yet classy, subtle yet bold, soft yet strong. It was my calling...

I Heart New York

(H&M top 1 & 2, and overall 1 & 2, Steve Madden Slip-on 1 & 2)

I never owned a pair of overalls until during on the of shoots the stylist gave me this pair of faux leather overalls. In my head (at that time) I was thinking, will I be able to pull this off? The shorts look pretty loose to me. Well I didn't really had a say in the look but throughout the event, almost everyone was complimenting me on how cute my outfit was. Needless to say, the look was becoming more and more appealing to me, so I went to H&M a few days after and brought myself the same pair. I also got a stripe crop top to give it a different feel so it's not just a plain tee. Slipped onto my pony hair shoes and I feel good. That's the most important of them all. Feel good in what you are wearing =)

Casual Day Off

(Zara top 1 & 2, JKim sporty leggings 1 & 2, Steve Madden Slip ons 1 & 2)

Not every outfit needs to be overdone or super glamourous. Being comfortable on your day off is the best treat for yourself and your feet. What I love about this pair of leggings is that it's more sporty that tights so it feels more like something you can wear to the gym or for everyday wear. It thing for sure is that it is not transparent when you bend over! I mean walking around with sporty tights is okay for most leggings are so thin that you can pretty much see through them. That's definitely a big no no. Anyways I love these pony fur slip ons, it really gives it that extra edge from being plain black  to more fun. Not everyday is a dress up day but dressing down doesn't mean it can't be fun or comfortable right? =)

Heart Throb

(F21 top 1 & 2 and skirt 1 & 2, H&M pumps 1 & 2, Prada bag, Marc Jacobs Watch)

I wore this outfit to my brother's middle school graduation which took place at St. Johns. It was a beautiful big campus indeed. I had a pretty hard time deciding because I wanted to look appropriate for the ceremony but at the same time it was an excuse to up dress up! I didn't want to wear dark colors, I wanted something fun. So I got remember picking these pieces up at F21 a whileeeee back but I thought the color was vibrant and it was super fun. Didn't really have a chance to wear it until now, ha. I love printed skirts and I pair it with a loose blouse that's the same color.

Walk On Sunshine

(Gap Denim Jacket 1 & 2, F21 Dress 1 & 2, Leggings 1 & 2, Hunter Boots 1 & 2, Marc Jacobs Watch 1 & 2)

The sun will always come out after the rain. Who says you can't dress up on a rainy day? It might be a little chilly so throw on a cool denim jacket and layer it up! I was planning on wearing this little blue dress the day before when I found out it was cold and rainy out, almost gave in for some pants but I decided to layer up my outfit. The dress is cute and feminine, adding a loose fit washout denim jacket gives it some personality. To keep myself dry, I had to wear my grey Hunter boots. I seriously love them!

Simply Black

(Dress from a Boutique 1 & 2, Dooney and Bourke bag 1 & 2, Nine West wedges 1 & 2, Kate Spade Sunglasses 1 & 2, Marc Jacobs Watch 1 & 2)

When the weather is nice out I can't help but wear a dress. Maybe I'm just girly like that, haha. This is one my favorite black dress, the sheer polyester material is super light and asymmetric hems are just fun. Keeping this look simple with a mini bag and some wedges. Walking around the city, you definitely need comfortable shoes. It casual enough to wear it during the day and suitable for a fancy dinner as well!
