Walk On Sunshine

(Gap Denim Jacket 1 & 2, F21 Dress 1 & 2, Leggings 1 & 2, Hunter Boots 1 & 2, Marc Jacobs Watch 1 & 2)

The sun will always come out after the rain. Who says you can't dress up on a rainy day? It might be a little chilly so throw on a cool denim jacket and layer it up! I was planning on wearing this little blue dress the day before when I found out it was cold and rainy out, almost gave in for some pants but I decided to layer up my outfit. The dress is cute and feminine, adding a loose fit washout denim jacket gives it some personality. To keep myself dry, I had to wear my grey Hunter boots. I seriously love them!

Simply Black

(Dress from a Boutique 1 & 2, Dooney and Bourke bag 1 & 2, Nine West wedges 1 & 2, Kate Spade Sunglasses 1 & 2, Marc Jacobs Watch 1 & 2)

When the weather is nice out I can't help but wear a dress. Maybe I'm just girly like that, haha. This is one my favorite black dress, the sheer polyester material is super light and asymmetric hems are just fun. Keeping this look simple with a mini bag and some wedges. Walking around the city, you definitely need comfortable shoes. It casual enough to wear it during the day and suitable for a fancy dinner as well!

Back On Track

(Guess Blazer 1 & 2, H&M Blouse 1 & 2, American Eagle Denim 1 & 2,                                             Vans 1 & 2, MJ Watch)

Summer is almost over, seriously time flies when you are having fun. There's a time for play and a time for work. I decided to go for the black and white back to work day outfit. Why not, right? I have tons of black clothing in my closet, maybe it's a New Yorker thing, maybe it's everyone's thing. At my job, we are all pretty casual so there's no pressure to follow cooperate dress code (which I'm super happy about). Normally I do not shop at Guess but one day while browsing through the store with my girlfriends I came across this boyfriend blazer. What I loved about it the most is that it's not a regular business-y blazer, it's actually made out of cotton and the fabric is extremely soft. After one touch I knew I had to try it on and I loved it. Thought about it for a long while and decided to put it back on the shelf, which is what I normally do because I knew I didn't need the blazer, but eventually I came back for it. I'm not sure if you guys had this experience, but sometimes you try on something that you weren't too sure about it at first but for some reason it just stays in your mind and you just knew that you had to go back to get it. Well, that's what happened with this blazer. It was literally talking to me!! & I love it ever since =) hahah.

Blue Ribbon

(H&M top 1 & 2, pants 1 & 2, & heels 1 & 2, Prada bag, TC Charton Sunglasses)

Honestly I didn't even notice until I posted these photos that my entire outfit was from H&M, seriously it was totally coincidental and I brought these pieces at all different time. How funny is that!? So I been wanting to wear white pants for a while but white can be tricky because you just have to be super careful not to get stained on. Don't you just hate those days where the only day you wear a light color outfit, you get a stain but all other days you are totally fine. Luckily, that didn't happen to me but I was still very careful, haha. You can pretty much pair anything with white pants so I went with a loose boxy crop top with a pair of white heels. The outfit is simple yet fun at the same time.
